Gary D. Oliver

DELMAR – Gary D. Oliver, 64, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the St. Peter's Hospice Inn with his loving family at his side. Born in Albany on July 31, 1951, he was the son of Merle F. Oliver and the late Miriam (Waylett) Oliver. Known to many as the "Singing Window Cleaner", Gary operated Clearview Window Cleaning for over 30 years. An avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing and boating. Gary enjoyed sports, especially cycling, and was a member of M.H.C.C. He had been a member of the Mendelssohn Club of Albany for the past three years which he enjoyed tremendously. In addition to his father, Gary is survived by his wife, Margaret A. (Dorenz) Oliver; daughter, Amanda L. Oliver; son, Michael G. Oliver; stepchildren, Sommer L. and Jacob T. Ingalls; sister, Nancy Mendick (Richard); brother, Bruce Oliver (Suzanne); and a step-grandchild, Jacob Parker A celebration of Gary's life will be held on Sunday, December 13th at 2 pm at Normanside Country Club, 150 Salisbury Rd., Delmar.
