Eileen McCarry

DELMAR- Eileen Patricia McCarry, 92, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Riverside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Castleton. Born in Brooklyn she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Harte McCarry. Ms. McCarry worked as a nurse at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn for many years. She is survived by her sister-in-law Odette McCarry, her nephews Michael (Elvira) McCarry and Peter McCarry, nieces Jane (Jay) Daniel and Mary Ann (Ron) Whyte and her grandnieces and nephews Jennifer Grawin, Alex Whyte and Emily, Christopher and Kathryn Daniel. Ms. McCarry was predeceased by her siblings Mary, Jane, Vincent and Felix McCarry and Muriel Clarke. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar, Friday, May 10, 2013 from 5 to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 9:30am in the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, 35 Adams Place, Delmar, Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
