Donald W. Kawczak

FEURA BUSH – Donald Wayne Kawczak, Sr., 62, entered into heaven on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015. Born on April 22, 1953, he was the son of the late Stephen and Beverly (Vroman) Kawczak. Donald devoted 44 years of his life to construction, 21 of those years working for Peter K. Frueh, Inc. He lived each day to run a piece of machinery to move earth and build communities. During his lifetime, he has touched many people's hearts and dedicated his life to helping others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Donald was the devoted husband of 43 years to his wife Darlene (Quick) Kawczak; Loving father to Dana (Bruce) Hess, Donald (Amanda) Kawczak and Dean Kawczak (Jessica Hopkins); Beloved grandfather to Joshua, Devon and Summer Hess, and Mackenzie, Dylan, Landen and Cash Kawczak; brothers, Stephen (Margie), Peter (Cindy), Dennis (Melissa) and Stanley Kawczak; sisters, Susan (Tim) Banahan, Cathy (John) Slaver; Martha (Jeff) Rarick and Betty (Al) Kawczak; many nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Chloe. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, Dec. 4th from 4 to 7 pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave, Delmar. A funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday, Dec. 5th at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Onesquethaw Cemetery.
