Delilah S. Ocampo

Delilah S. Ocampo, born on February 15, 1977, in Sultan Kudarat, Philippines, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025, in Albany, New York. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and dedication that has touched the lives of many.

Delilah worked as a Registered Nurse at Albany Medical Center Hospital since 2012, where her commitment to caring for others made a profound impact on her patients and colleagues alike. The A4 Family at Albany Medical Center will forever remember her warmth, professionalism, and the comfort she provided in times of need. She was not just a nurse; she was a beacon of hope for many who crossed her path.

An active member of The City Harvest Family Church, Delilah found joy and community within her church family. She embraced her faith wholeheartedly, fostering a spirit of fellowship that brought people together in love and support. Delilah's gentle smile and kindness radiated, creating an environment where everyone felt welcomed and valued.

Delilah is survived by her beloved mother, Leonora S. Staples; loving husband, Eduardo Ocampo; Jr.; her cherished son, Jae Samuel Ocampo; her devoted sister, Darlene Lubiano; her loving brother, Dennis Staples; and her sister Desiree Concha. They will carry her memory in their hearts, reflecting on the moments they shared and the love that she so freely gave.

She is predeceased by her father, David F. Staples, and her brother Donald Staples. Their love and guidance shaped Delilah into the incredible woman she became, and their spirits will resonate within her family as they honor her life and memories.

The community is invited to celebrate Delilah's vibrant life with a series of services at City Harvest Family Church, located at 585 Central Ave, Albany, NY. A viewing will be held on April 26, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, followed by a Celebration of Lifeat 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Capital Region Nurses Honor Guard Nightingale Tribute Service will commence afterward from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM, leading into the Funeral Service from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A final viewing will invite friends and family to gather from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
