Cynthia M. Galloway

DELMAR - Cynthia Knight Morgans Galloway, 94, of Delmar passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Kingsway Manor. Born in Middletown, NY she was the daughter of the late Warner Knight Morgans and Mildred Moore Morgans. She was a graduate of Katharine Gibbs College in New York City. She had been a member of the Delmar Reformed Church, the Progress Club and the Bethlehem Garden Club. She had a wonderful sense of humor and delighted her grandchildren for their good behavior by handing out "gold stars". Survivors include her husband, Clark H. Galloway; son, Stewart C. Galloway and his wife, Julie, son-in-law, Ronald Candrea (Robin); her grandchildren, Suzanne Eyerman (James), Carolyn Smith (Kevin), David Candrea (Marion), Emily Galloway and Rachel Galloway; and great-grandchildren, Pacey, Gabe, Luke, Travis, and Madelyn. She was predeceased by her daughter, Marguerite A. Galloway Candrea, her sister, Joy Hann, and her parents. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar on Monday, May 9 from 4 to 6 pm. There will be a memorial service at Delmar Reformed Church on Tuesday, May 10 at 10:00 am followed by interment at the Wallkill Cemetery in Middletown, Orange County, NY.
