**Obituary for Christopher M. Greklek**
In loving memory of Christopher M. Greklek, a man of many talents and countless friendships. Born on February 14, 1968, in Kingston, NY, Chris's journey on this earth came to a peaceful close on July 30, 2024, surrounded by his cherished family in Halfmoon, NY.
Throughout his life, Chris wore many professional hats, each one leading him to new connections and life-long friendships. From his days in pharmaceuticals to bartending, from selling yellow pages advertising (yes, it was a long time ago) to flipping houses with a passion for hands-on renovations - Chris embraced each opportunity with enthusiasm, a smile and a joke or two.
Chris's educational journey took him from Kingston High School in 1986 to Siena College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in 1990. But it wasn't just his career and education that defined him; it was his infectious personality that left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Known for his humor and ability to make others laugh, Chris's kindness, generosity, strength, and unwavering positivity were traits that will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
His love for travel and concerts was evident, but above all, Chris found true joy in the company of family and friends. His proudest accomplishments undoubtedly revolved around his children whom he treasured deeply. As an Ironman triathlete and advocate for Multiple Myeloma research, Chris leaves behind a legacy of determination and advocacy.
Chris is survived by his son Taylor and fiancée Cassie, daughters Alexis and Abigail, and wife Aimee. He was predeceased by his beloved dog Clyde, as well as his father John Greklek and mother Rita Greklek. His memory will also be cherished by numerous other relatives and friends whose lives he touched so profoundly.
Services to honor the life of Christopher M. Greklek will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Latham, NY. Visitation will take place on Friday, August 2nd from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church, followed by a Mass on Saturday, August 3rd starting at 10:00 AM.

In our hearts forever, may you rest in peace knowing the love you shared continues to live on through those who were fortunate enough to have known you.
