Cecilia B. O'Shea, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, partner, and friend, passed away peacefully at home in Delmar, NY, on January 19, 2025. Born on September 11, 1971 in Albany NY, Cecilia’s spirit was as vibrant and heartwarming as the laughter she shared with all those who knew her.

Cecilia had a storied professional career throughout her life, but spent her last few years as a Legal Assistant with the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. Her colleagues remember her not just for her skills and dedication to her work, but for her kind and caring nature, paired with an extraordinary sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest of days.

A devoted family member, Cecilia would do anything for those she loved, ensuring that peace and laughter filled their lives. She is survived by her cherished mother and father, Lorraine Conway and retired USMC Lt Colonel Jack Conway. Her legacy continues through her loving children, Cerisa Conway and Ryley O'Shea, who carry with them the happiness and warmth she instilled in their lives. Cecilia is also survived by her adoring partner, George Morehouse, as well as her older sisters Corinna Mitchell, Christina Allen, and Carissa Conway, who will forever hold her memory close.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Cecilia found bliss in simple comforts — the treasured memories of cuddling with her cats, the delightful world of Care Bears, and the enchantment of unicorns. These interests reflected her whimsical spirit and the boundless love she offered to those around her.

As we celebrate the remarkable life of Cecilia B. O'Shea, we remember her as a beacon of kindness and joy. Her laughter will echo in our hearts, her love will continue to bind us, and her memory will live on through the lives she touched so deeply.

Services will be held at Applebee Funeral Home at 403 Kenwood Ave, Delmar, NY on Monday, January 27th. There will be visitation hours from 4-7pm, followed by a short service.
