Becky Plog

1988 — January 27, 2023

Becky Plog, 34, of Delmar, NY passed away at home on January 27, 2023, surrounded by her family after a long illness.  Becky was born August 2, 1988 in Saratoga Springs, NY to Kathleen (Neumann) & Keith Plog.

Becky was a 2006 graduate of Bethlehem High School and went on to study education at The College of St. Rose.  Becky worked a variety of local jobs meeting many wonderful people along her journey.  She especially loved working at The Beverwyck & Hannaford.

When she was healthy, Becky enjoyed bowling and playing softball.  She loved going to the movies, especially the drive-in.  Becky enjoyed cooking, baking, swimming, and traveling, especially to the beach.

Becky dreamed of becoming a mother and had that dream realized in 2020 when she and her long time partner Tyler Luzinas became foster parents to Dustin.  She spent many of her happiest moments enjoying time with him.

In addition to Dustin and Tyler, Becky is survived by her mother, Kathleen Plog, her father Keith Plog (Donna), her sisters Amanda Szczepkowski (Brett) & Kristine Plog, her brother Myles Plog (Kaylee), her nieces & nephews Landon, Kendra, Arthur, Arya, Clayton, Veara & Gabe, her grandfather James Plog and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Agnes and Richard Neumann and her Paternal Grandmother Dorothy Plog.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, January 30, 2023 at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave. Delmar from 4:00-7:00pm, followed immediately by a remembrance service at 7:00pm.
