Beatrice Wiggins

GUILDERLAND - Beatrice A. Wiggins passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012. The daughter of James L. and Olive Carl Ames, she was born in Wellsboro, PA, had lived in Fort Edward, Yonkers, South Portland, ME and Delmar prior to moving to Guilderland, New York over 35 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Wiggins (1964) and her son Jack Wiggins (1990). Bea, as she was affectionately known, is survived by her three grandchildren, Jeff Wiggins of Colorado, Wendy Rizzi of Georgia and Eric Wiggins of New Jersey, as well as, five great grandchildren. Bea loved playing golf, traveling, caring for her dogs and cats and visiting her brother Donald Ames, a Hollywood actor. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 2:30pm in the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Avenue, Delmar, NY. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 1pm.
