Barry L. Junco

Barry L. Junco, 62, of Waitsfield, Vermont passed away on March 14th 2023. He was born on May 28th 1960 to Helen and Louis Junco of Delmar, NY.

Barry graduated from Bethlehem Central High School. He worked for the NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation and then on to NYS Office of Information Technology. After 30 years he retired in 2015.

He was much loved by family and his many friends. Barry was a free spirit and his love for animals made him a loving parent to many cats and dogs over his lifetime. He enjoyed the outdoors and his time in Waitsfield.

Barry is survived by his loving sister, Laura Junco; his nephew, Blair Junco; niece, Ashley (Junco) Lombardo and her children, Anthony and Julianna.

He is predeceased by his parents and brother, Thomas L. Junco.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, March 19 from 1 to 3 pm at Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar.

In lieu of flowers, friends and family who wish to remember Barry may donate to an animal shelter or animal organization of their choice.
