Anna Joyce McCann, 85, of Delmar, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020.
Born in Wappingers Falls, NY on September 15, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Reese Vernon and Anna Katherine (Franklin) McKinney. Anna had worked for many years for McDonald’s in Delmar and in Ravena. She loved cooking and baking and was known for her famous cheesecake. She had also run a part-time cake business with her daughter. Her other enjoyments included painting, reading and she was an avid dog lover. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harry J. McCann.
Survivors include her children, Brian R. McCann (Michele) of Madisonville, KY and Shari Ann Burr (Gene) of Delmar; her sister, Dorothy McKinney Bailey of Fishkill, NY; grandchildren, Donna McCann of Tacoma, Wash., Thomas Morrison of Madisonville, KY, Nick Morrison, Corey Burr (Melissa) and Stephanie Burr (Jeff) all of East Greenbush, Samantha Sprague (Lee) of Swanzey, NH, and Savannah Burr of Aurora, CO; and great grandchildren, Alexander Burr, A’Niya Morrison, Addison Scott and Noah Burr; and several nieces and nephews.
Private burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a time when we can all safely gather. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation (www.arthritis.org) or Ronald McDonald House (www.rmhcofalbany.org).
