Angelina M. Fori

Angelina Marcelle Fori (Angie) of Delmar passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Nicolean Marcelle. Angie worked 50 years at Albany Medical Center in the business office (her second home) and most recently at the information desk. She was an active member of the Volunteer Auxiliary at AMC and exercised many roles as a member. Angie's life revolved around the love of her close knit family. She was always an integral part of all family activities. Angie was always ready to help family and friends and never hesitated to offer straight forward advice with no holds barred. She is survived by her most treasured son, Thomas Fori, Esq., Coxsackie, granddaughter Andrea Catura,(Paul), California, grandson Darren(Kirsten), Coxsackie, great grandson, Benjamin Catura, the love and joy of her life, her sister Rosemary Taranto(Bob), Slingerlands, sister-in-law, Ann Marcelle, Florida., her cherished nieces and nephews, Ruthann Gozemba, (Paul), Saratoga Springs, Thomas Marcelle (Elena), Slingerlands, Lawrence Marcelle(Diane), NYC, Edward Marcelle(Diane), Delmar, Jenean Taranto Watson(Ken), Slingerlands, Dr. Robert Taranto(Margaret), Slingerlands, Maryjo Taranto, Slingerlands, Nicolean Taranto, Slingerlands and ever special friend Judee Brennan, Saratoga, who was always ready to help Angie in all her needs and with whom she shared good times and joy. She also leaves her dear friends at AMC with whom she shared many experiences, Ruth, Sarah, Pat, Marian, Kathy, and "Mr. Clute" and also her coffee clutch friends, Maxine, Eleanor, Noreen, and Leia. Angie was predeceased by her daughter Felicia and brother Dr. Alfonso Marcelle (Doc). A special thanks to Dr. Richard McDowell whom she called her "savior". As well, a special thanks to the Daughters of Sarah for the care and compassion extended to Angie and her family. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 11am in the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, 35 Adams Place, Delmar. Interment will be private.
