Born in Sayreville, NJ she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Anne Reit Weisfeld.
Alice lived in Danbury, CT before settling in Providence, RI where she was a professor of Akkadian & Sumerian Studies at Brown University until her retirement. She loved to travel and enjoyed preparing food from diverse cultures. She will be remembered for her snazzy fashion sense throughout her entire life.
Alice was the beloved wife of the late Gordon Slotsky and loving mother of Pamela Slotsky and her husband Stephen Piorkowski of Delmar.
