A Great Man who lived a Great Life,
A Nephew's viewpoint.
By Brian David Lynn
Let me start by saying,
Anthony J. Giordano is my Uncle Tony,
his beloved wife, Alba Giordano, is my Aunt Bini and my Godmother, my mother, Joan Giordano Lynn, is my Uncle Tony's sister, and Godmother to James Giordano, my Uncle's oldest son.
My Grandfather, Andrew J. Giordano, father of my Uncle Tony and my Mom Joan, was the kindest, most gentle man I have ever known. And he loved and cherished his son Anthony and daughter Joan. This Love from my Grandfather to his son and daughter continued on to his 5 grandsons, James, John, Andrew, Robert and myself.
Over the years we were a close family and I saw this same love of family continue from my Uncle Tony to his 3 boys and from my Mom to my brother and I. But it didn't stop there. That same Love of family was time and time again shown to my Brother and I from our Uncle Tony as it was shown from my Mom to my 3 cousins. And it didn't stop there as this same Love was shown time and time again to my Uncle Tony's 6 grand children.
Let's put aside for the moment my Uncle's successes of graduating from college as an engineer, or building
roads and bridges in New York state, or part running and growing a travel agency with my Aunt Bini. His Love of Family alone, passed down to his sister and him, and continued to pass down to his 3 sons and 2 nephews, makes him a great man who's lived a great Life.
To add to all this, I did not know but recently learned at a family event, that my Uncle Tony is a world war II veteran serving as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy. For those that may not know,
the Navy is near and dear to my heart as Navy service runs deep in the Lynn family as my father served in the Navy as well as my father's grandfather.
And currently, my son, Robert Andrew Lynn, is serving in the engineering dept.
of the USS Gonzalez, a naval destroyer
out of Norfolk, VA.
So, in my book, this makes my Uncle Tony, one of the Greatest Men who lived a Great life.
May God Bless my Uncle Tony, my Aunt Bini, Jimmy, Johnny and Andy and their families. And may God Bless my Mother and Father, my son Robert, my brother Bob and his wife Pam, and all those attending today. God Bless You All!

Tony always had a smile, and his door was always open. I enjoyed working
(Latham Chamber of Commerce) in the same building as Plaza Travel.
My thoughts are with his family.
