Obituary of Cherise M. Vitillo

DELMAR- Cherise Marie (Majewski) Vitillo, 55, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 31, 2016 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Amsterdam on October 18, 1961, she was the daughter of Edward S. Majewski and the late Phyllis A. (Kowalski) Majewski and the wife of the late Nicholas J. Vitillo. In addition to her father, survivors include her children, Paul Kietzman (Melissa) and Victoria, Anna and Jamie Vitillo; grandchildren, Emma and Andrew Kietzman and Alexis Loucks; her siblings, Deborah Krutz (Claude), Kathy Pepe (Paul), Edward Majewski (the late Christina) and Thomas Majewski (Lynn) and several nieces and nephews. Cherise worked for the United States Postal Service, Bethlehem Central School District bus garage and the juice company. She loved music, Halloween, shoes, motorcycle rides with her Dad and spending time with her family, especially her three grandchildren. She was a fierce fighter who lived life to the fullest. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, November 3rd from 4 to 7 pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. A funeral mass will be celebrated 9:30 am Friday, November 4th at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Pl., Delmar. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
