Obituary of Patricia Genovesi

SLINGERLANDS - Patricia E. Genovesi, 72, of Slingerlands passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Voorheesville on February 26, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Emily Flansburg. Patricia loved animals, especially her dog, Dozer, and had many hobbies and enjoyments. She loved crocheting and needlepoint, tending to her flower gardens, and was a talented artist. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, to whom she was known as "Mimi" and who will miss her dearly. Survivors include her husband, Joseph V. Genovesi; daughter, Kimberly Ten Eyck and husband, Peter of Altamont; son, Jeffrey Genovesi and wife, Jacqueline of Altamont; grandchildren, Salvatore and Carmella Genovesi and Emily, Morgan and Taylor Ten Eyck; and a brother, Reginald Flansburg (Sheila) of Altamont. A graveside service will be held 11 am Monday at Calvary Cemetery, 481 Route 9W, Glenmont. There will be no calling hours.
